MISSION
Mukuru Clean Stoves uses recycled metal to manufacture improved cookstoves and agricultural waste to manufacture mosquito repellent fuel. Our Deliverables to the Communities
Value Statements
Mukuru Clean Stoves (MCS) are high-efficiency, low-emission cookstoves designed to replace traditional open fires and inefficient stoves. By integrating innovative insulation and fuel optimization, these stoves significantly reduce fuel consumption, cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and protect families from household air pollution (HAP).
The Mukuru Briquette is an innovative biofuel alternative designed to address energy poverty, deforestation, and malaria transmission in underserved communities. It is made from agricultural waste and infused with pyrethrin, a natural insecticide, to function as both a clean cooking fuel and a mosquito-repellent.
For many families, cookstoves and briquettes are still out of reach. Your support can help ensure no one is denied access to safe, clean cooking.
